Artwork formats Contagious Graphics can accept for Paper Roll Labels.

Advanced Artwork Help and Detailed Information here.

- Adobe Illustrator (version CS3 or earlier) or Macromedia Freehand (version MX or earlier). Convert all text to paths/outlines. This eliminates the need to have the fonts here when we open your file. If you do not convert your text to paths/outlines, you MUST include the font file along with your artwork upload. Paths make logos more stable and less likely for spacing to change between letters or words. PLEASE PROVIDE LINKS AND ALL SUPPORTING GRAPHICS FILES; DO NOT EMBED IMAGES.

- Adobe Photoshop (CS3 or earlier) or similar pixel based program. Save as a TIFF, PSD, PDF or JPEG file. All files should be saved with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi at the size to be printed. If saved as a JPEG, DO NOT compress it below a 9/High Quality. The more you compress a JPEG the worse it looks when printed. Avoid the JPEG format entirely if you can.

- DO NOT TAKE ARTWORK FROM THE WEB, it is generally saved at 72 dpi, which will print EXTREMELY BAD. Do not resize/blow up an image from 72 dpi to 300 dpi, as it will still provide a poor quality print (a pixel based image will look more pixelated if blown up).

- If you are sending black & white art with gradients, make sure to change the Color Mode to Grayscale before saving. This reduces your file size, enabling you to e-mail or upload the file to us easily.

- We can take digital artwork through our FTP upload site (5 megabytes maximum) and e-mail (if 2 megabytes or smaller). Files that are compressed as ZIP files and StuffIt files are fine. You can also send us your artwork on a CD-R. Let us know if you are sending artwork to us and how it is being sent.

- If your original artwork is on paper (not in a digital format), then it must be scanned in properly to be converted to a digital file. A digital file is required to produce paper roll labels.  We can scan in your artwork for an additional $10.00 charge. You will need to mail the artwork to us in an envelope large enough for the artwork to be sent unfolded and with a piece of cardboard in the envelope to keep it flat.
